With over 70+acres to explore while you’re here at the resort you can do as much or as little as you like. There are ample opportunities to get out in nature. Hiking trails, fishing and cooling off in the creek, kayaking and canoeing, games on the deck, bonfires, star gazing, bird watching, the list is endless.
If you are more inclined to unplug and relax this is also the perfect spot. Each Glamp deck affords you plenty of space to unwind. Maybe curl up with a great book, play games, cook, or take a long, fabulous soak in the Hot Tub.
In advance of your stay let us know if there’s any special events you’ll be celebrating. We can help make it an even more memorable stay. For an additional fee we can book a couples massage, a private dinner in our Wine Cellar, a Sunday Brunch., excursions. There are lots of options and a new menu will be available soon. Some experiences will require a reservation and need to be booked in advance of your arrival so just let us know.

Massage Therapy
We are proud to work with
Remedy Me Spa Auburn to offer a full service massage therapy session provided right at your Glamp or creekside. They offer couples massages, deep tissue, swedish relaxation, cupping, hot stone, reflexology foot massage and more. Ali Kicker and CJ McCloud look forward to designing a custom experience for you. Please try and book a week to 10 days in advance of your stay when possible. Remedy Me Spa has several therapists so if you have friends and family they may be able to accommodate your group too.

Private Wine Cellar Dinner
Whatever the celebration; an anniversary, honeymoon, date night or family gathering we have carved out a beautiful, private space for you. The Private Dining Wine Cellar is located in the Sandy Creek Lodge. Let us provide everything you need for your dining experience. Chose from some wonderful menu options including vegetarian. With the private Wine Cellar all to yourself you can linger over dinner and take your time enjoying every bite. Dinners are $65 per person and please book your Private Wine Cellar Dinner reservation at the time of booking your stay. Based on availability.
Transportation
If you are coming to the Resort for Football weekends, a special occasion, you want to explore the area or simply need a designated driver for the evening we can help with Lance Weavers transportation services at The Ultimate Ride. Lance does airport pick ups and drop offs for larger parties or solo travelers. Servicing Montgomery, Birmingham or Atlanta Hartsfield Aiports. You can get here from anywhere! Lance has a party bus for your group too. The Ultimate Ride can customize your transportation needs during your stay.

Southwind Stage
Our love of all things music runs deep. After living in Nashville for decades it continues to be a big part of our lives so when we built The Destination Glamping Resort a place to perform and play was always part of the plan. This year we will host several live musical performances. The schedule is on this site. If you’re a guest at the Glamps and you’d like to attend an event you’ll get free tickets to the show and priority seating with tables, chairs and the best view of the stage. You’re our VIP!
Sandy Creek Lodge
The Lodge is not only our home but it’s the hub of The Destination Glamping Resort. As a guest you are welcome anytime and it’s here we host events, private dinners in our wine seller, jam sessions, corporate retreats & meetings, family reunions, rehearsal dinners. You name it, we absolutely love to entertain and would be honored for you to choose us for your celebration.
Sandy Creek
When we began looking at where to locate our dream Glamping Resort there was one non-negotiable, it had to be on water. When we traipsed through the woods and heard that incredible sound of running water we knew we found our spot. Sandy Creek is aptly named for its sandy bottom and clear waters. Everyday it looks different depending on the weather but it always brings comfort and peace. We have a fleet of kayaks for you to use if you’d like, a canoe too. Fishing poles are racked down by the dock but if you’d prefer to fly fish (it’s one of the best spots in the area) bring your own rod and reel and of course the adventurous can follow Sandy Creek to its glorious arrival into Lake Martin. Pack your swimsuit and water shoes. How lucky are we!!
