After 12 years in Nashville creating The Music Loft and watching it become an amazing vacation rental and premier music showcase venue, we are excited to be on this journey, creating a unique destination experience right next to Lake Martin Alabama.
Rhonda and I had long dreamed of running a B&B or maybe an old Inn somewhere. Once I retired and we got serious about finding our dream location to spend the rest of our lives sharing with the rest of the world, we just weren't clicking with any of the many properties we spent so many weekends driving to and tromping around on for hours and hours. Strangely enough, we ended up far away from Nashville and we are so glad we did! The Destination Resort is a beautiful piece of God's green earth and so deserves the attention we have been giving it.
We are so happy to share our themed safari tents with everyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors without missing out on a luxury lodging experience. Don’t worry if you can't decide on which one to stay in, you can always come back!!

About The Glamps
Finding the perfect location was only half of the equation. We researched, visited, and stayed in many types of glamping properties but we knew when we had found THE one!
The lodging structures are Safari Tents manufactured by the world renowned South African company Canvas & Tent who have been in business since the 1970’s and have provided high end safari tent structures to major resorts all over the world including a property owned by Richard Branson. These tents are designed to be permanently erected and when properly maintained can stand well over thirty years, as already demonstrated by actual installations in various world locations and climates.
